Any extended activity that is rhythmic and continuous in nature is an aerobic activity. Regular aerobic training produces a more efficient cardiovascular system including the heart, lungs and blood vessels. Dance, step, spinning ... these all make the heart beat faster, making it stronger. As your heart grows stronger, it takes less effort to do the same amount of physical work.
Aerobics are also helpful for weight control. And following a regular aerobics program can provide a sense of commitment and that can counteract stress. What's more, medical research has shown that regular aerobic activity increases the body's production of endorphins.

In order to achieve the benefits of regular aerobic activity, you will need to perform aerobic exercise between 3 days and 5 days per week. Twenty to 60 minutes is the recommended "duration." It takes a minimum of 20 minutes to achieve the aerobic "training effect." Our scheduled aerobics classes can help you achieve this.
Why Exercise? Regular exercise improves your health in a number of ways. When performed on most days of the week, regular physical activity reduces the risk of developing such things as high blood pressure and diabetes and reduces your risk of dying from heart disease. Not only does regular exercise help control weight, it also helps build and maintain healthy bones, joints and muscles.
